This course is divided into 4 stand alone sections with bonuses
Module One: What Tellington TTouch® is and learning to observe our dog. This will give us a better understanding of how our dog communicates with us. We will also teach you how to use Freework, offering a secure and stimulating space for your dog to freely explore and interact. By allowing them to move at their own pace, it helps build confidence, ease stress, and create a sense of calm, ensuring they feel more at ease so that we can better observe them.
Module Two: Learn some of the Tellington® TTouches. The bodywork will help the dog to be calm and relaxed and they are easy to learn and to implement. We will also discuss the 9 Elements of Tellington TTouch®
Module Three: Using Body Wraps to help our dog be more self-aware and to help their nervous system be more effective. We will learn to use the Tellington TTouch® bodywrap, how to tie it and the benefits of using a body wrap on an excited or nervous dog. You will learn some of the different configurations of wraps and watch us use them on a live dog.
Module Four: This is the section where we will explore loose lead walking, and how to use the Tellington® Leading techniques to stop your dog pulling on the lead. We will also deep dive the equipment used in TTouch; including 2-point harnesses, harmony leashes and connectors. Finally we will discuss confidence courses and show you how to set up a playground of higher learning for your dog.
